wonderful Hotel near san marco
helpful staff breakfast buffet spacious room
the staff was very helpful and friendly. the breakfast buffet included waffles and catered to all tastes. the waffle maker was a fun touch. the room was spacious with 'rituals' toiletries.
the room was HOT and stuffy.

Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments
inadequate air conditioning limited breakfast
The room felt smaller than expected. The air conditioning was inadequate and made the room stuffy. I also found the breakfast selection quite limited for a hotel of this supposed standard. The coffee was not great and the pastries seemed stale.

The breakfast selection impressed me. Fresh pastries and local jams were available. i found the location allowed easy access to shops, a short walk i enjoyed! the water taxi wharf at the back of the building was convenient.

strong smell old-fashioned decor
the breakfast was good, so that was acceptable.
My room smelled strongly of cleaning products. It gave me a headache. i asked the reception to do something, but the smell persisted. also, the old-fashioned decor did not really appeal to me. The lobby felt outdated and not very inviting.

I traveled with family to celebrate a special occasion. The location was amazing near main attractions. Breakfast included great options and fresh ingredients. The staff helped us with all our needs, so kind and helpful. I found great value in the service.
The room's decor felt a little dated. It needs some updating.
